Conservation Framing in Dallas

Some pieces aren’t meant to be replaced. A grandmother’s watercolor, a first sonogram, a photograph of someone who’s no longer here, these deserve more than a standard frame from a big-box shop.

Conservation framing is our baseline for anything you actually want to keep. Every piece we build using conservation methods includes acid-free, lignin-free mats and backing, UV-filtering glazing that blocks up to 99% of ultraviolet light, and reversible mounting, meaning your artwork is never permanently glued or dry-mounted, so it can always be removed, restored, or reframed later without damage.

What we conservation-frame most often:

  • Original paintings and works on paper

  • Fine art and photographic prints

  • Family photographs and heirlooms

  • Documents, letters, and archival ephemera

  • Textiles and delicate memorabilia

Every piece is hand-fitted in our Dallas Design District studio at 1349 Chemical Street, using the same materials and techniques museums rely on for their permanent collections. If you’re not sure whether your piece needs conservation framing or our museum-tier option, bring it in, we’re happy to walk you through it.
